Seahorse is a poor swimmer, luckily it has a prehensile tail to grasp objects and anchor itself to avoid drifting.

Seahorse used its small dorsal fin to move forward and backward. To stay afloat it needs to adjust the volume of air on its swim bladders.

The male seahorse will self-fertilizes the eggs in its pouch as soon as the female transfer the eggs, and the male need to go through birth contraction up to 12 hours.
